How to read this pageShow
- Leg
- One option or future that you buy or sell. A strategy is one or more legs together.
- Premium paid / received
- The money that changes hands for the options when you enter.
- Largest profit and loss
- The best and worst result if you hold every leg to expiry.
- Break-even
- The price at expiry where the result is exactly zero.
- Solid and dashed lines
- Solid is the result at expiry. Dashed is the model value before expiry, on the day and volatility you choose.
- Greeks
- How the position's value responds to price (delta, gamma), time (theta) and volatility (vega).
These numbers describe what has happened or what is priced right now. They are not forecasts or suggestions.
1. Add your legs
Choose B to buy or S to sell an option at that strike.
Or start from a standard structure
A shortcut for typing common shapes. It replaces your legs; you can then edit every one. These are not suggestions.
2. Your legs
No legs yet. Add one from the chain on the left, or load a standard structure.
